Book Review      The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald is set in the 1920’s during the Jazz Age. Scratch Carraway is a man in his late twenties living on West Egg island in Long Island, New York carrying on with a â€Å"normal† life. That is, until he meets his strange neighbor, a rich man named Jay Gatsby. He is a man of puzzle, living in a house that is continually brimming with individuals, music, what's, better time. Nick’s â€Å"normal† life gets tossed upside down when he gets included in the life of this unprecedented tycoon. From the start, Nick is awed and attracted by the charm and notoriety, however he in the long run makes sense of for himself how improvise truly was.
